When You Arrive

The Deckhouse is a charming, fully equipped cabin located on famous Chuckanut Drive – 11 scenic miles of cliffside highway “Where the mountains meet the ocean”. It is located half-way between Seattle, WA & Vancouver, BC. The cabin faces west overlooking Samish Bay. 

The cabin is comfortable for one or two adults. Pets are not allowed. Check-in is 3 p.m. (or later) and check-out is at noon (or earlier). The cabin is a non-smoking retreat. There will be a $300.00 cleaning fee added on your credit card for guests who “light up” inside.

What We Offer

Champagne.
We provide a bottle of champagne, along with cheese, crackers, mixed nuts & candies for your enjoyment.

Breakfast.
For the morning, your host has provided breakfast bread, hot & cold cereal, fruit yogurt, juices, and English muffins with butter & jams. Along with coffee, hot chocolate, milk, & a variety of teas.

Sunset.
On most evenings you can view a lovely sunset comfortably from the bed or the hot tub on the deck! You may also observe a variety of wildlife – such as blue herons, red-tailed hawks, bald eagles, deer, & the oyster beds in the bay.
